Hello... I Guess
I finally have one of these livejournal . . . things. My friends said it would be good for me to have a place to type . . . whatever. Rant, rave, let out some anger. Y'know . . . teen angst crap. Not that anyone is actually going to see any of this. Nope, it's just a little place for me on "teh intarwebz".
So, first rant of the day: Really clueless people. And people who don't see anything beyond themselves. I was talking to a group of sophomore guys the other day and they honestly didn't know that there were other religions outside conservative Christianity. They seriously didn't! And I'm Pagan and I was trying to explain that to them and they just really didn't get it. So after I was done with my little rant/religious ed lesson, they were silent for a moment.
Then this one guy asked, "So you doing belive in God or the Bible?"
*facepalm*
No shit, Sherlock. That's what I spent the last five minutes explaining.
Speaking of Sherlock . . . I still have to write a book report on The Hound of the Baskervilles. Crap. It's due next Friday and I haven't even finished it yet. Skim reading FTW!
