What do you guys think about the Tumblr trolls who managed to convince thousands of people that they were "a 16 year old autistic pangender asexual demiromantic trans-asian cat otherkin who loves tea and cuddles."

Good because it indirectly builds asexual and demiromantic awareness (since people probably Googled the terms?)
Completely out of line?
Part of me finds it amusing, but another part of me finds it problematic.
