Well today started same as every day this week, get up early to the cold wet nose of a full grown black labarodor who’s hungry and wants to play. After Gator was handled there was the mad dash for breakfast a shower and of course clothes. You would think than when you have to wear a uniform it would take less time to dress but no it takes longer, do these kakis look to much like the ones I wore yesterday, does this shirt still smell like fish even though I washed it three times. Morning dilemmas.

Drive in was good, little traffic although weird weather from down pour to sunshine I knew it was going to be a long day. The small spawns arrived precisely at 9:30 and it was a dash to the touch a shark before visitors were allowed in. Then upstairs for a lesson on the polar regions. Blubber activities and then the ever popular floor puzzle, with snack thrown in there somewhere. Then it was a dash the seal feeding and then to lunch for the little ones and us, ten less minutes to scarf food down because we had to be on time for the Imax. Well those that were going to see it, I ended up watching Planet Earth with one. Good episode too.

After the movie and the return of the geared up darlings it was a lesson in whales, dolphins, and seals, my favorite. Activities on eating habits and some artifacts entertained while we prepped whale mobiles to color and create. Then it was down stairs for checkout of all but five, which had to stay with me for extended. A trip to touch a shark, then the sandbox and finally back to the jellies and sharks resulted in the little ones finally loosing some energy so I could keep up. Back to the main room for pick up for them and then it was a dash to clock out, get stuff together and get home. Then eat dinner, a well balanced meal of chinese take out and a drink. I needed one.

Bed had never looked so good before.

prompt, daily
