Nights in White Satin

Ashe had already started to move some of the stuff already packed the day after signing the papers, He didn't care if everything wasn't fully unpacked or even mostly done. He had just felt like being as productive as possible. He had used the Range Rover to transport the speakers he had decided he could not leave in the garage, after he had cleaned them back up of course all the dust cleaned off and out of them. They had been left against a wall in the livingroom along with the large sound system itself. It was not hooked up yet, the boxes he brought over where not even unpacked either. He was had really just come here just to see what he was looking out at, the ocean.

His boots and jacket were sitting on the railing of the back deck, it was honestly too damn hot for the jacket but Ashe did love how his long coats made him look and feel so he dealt with the ungodly LA heat just to wear them. Sitting barefooted on the sand watching the moon over the still fading sky above the water. It was a beautiful sight, something he honestly never thought he would get to enjoy. Not without trespassing or going back to his family, then again the sea he got to see as a boy did not compare to the sight before his eyes. Snapping a picture of the sight before him he sent the picture to all three of the women in his life, Selene, Raine and Grace. The only text with it 'I think we've found heaven on earth.'

He laid back against the sand and smiled up at the sky, it was strange to feel so content. Even as he became more and more okay with the state of his life he knew he would likely not shake the strangeness of how it felt to know he was happy and could truly be happy. He had lost so much, and over the last month gained more then he could ever imagine. Nothing would truly fill the void left from Danny's death but he had learned to smile again and felt truly happy with his love, his lover and his family. It was a feeling he wished not to lose anytime soon. He was hoping this place would bring them all good memories. The house itself had such a good feel too it and the water didn't make Ashe's skin crawl like the murky green waters near the peir where he and Danny had died. All he felt here was contentment.
