The questions given to me by
chinese_lily :
1. If you HAD to choose one country to live in for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
Just randomly choosing? Maybe New Zealand. But I've never been there, so I don't really know. The UK is super, but also terrifically expensive. Maybe the US. I do like my country. But let's go with New Zealand, for kicks. It's beautiful, it has sheep, it's not terrifically expensive, and
everydayjoy says they give chocolate with coffee in the cafes.
2. You adopt a dog from the local shelter. What sort of dog and what do you call it?
I want a BORDER COLLIE! They usually have names like Fly and Fritz and Kate, but I think I'd call mine Arkadi. Then I'd have to find a place to live with some land around it and get something for my collie to herd. Like goats. Or children. Something.
3. You've invited me to your house for a meal. What have you made?
I'm in the mood to make Thai Pumpkin Soup for someone. But if you were coming over tonight, you might get stuck with some of the giant pot of borsh I made this weekend.
4. Who was your first friend?
My brother, Richard. Once I was filling out a form about myself, and I got the question "favorite toy" and for some reason asked the adult what that meant. She said, "What you like best to play with." So my paper said, "My favorite toy: My brother Richard."
5. What do YOU think is the answer to life, the universe and everything?
Communion. With one's self, the people around one, the universe, art, nature... all living things, really. My Code of Ethics is simple: what moves me toward communion is right, what pulls me from it is wrong. Chocolate, obviously, is very right according to this scheme.
