Squee! Love how in this, Sam gave Dean the necklace even though John came back. Seeing the boys and John through Bobby's eyes is fascinating. The imagery of Sam and Dean and their daemons playing in the snow and tinkering with trucks at Bobby's is wonderful and so christmas-y.

This is a nice observation: Bobby shouldn’t be surprised she’s already settling. In all the years he’s known the boys, Dean never really acted like a kid.

I like that Bobby wasn't too surprised that the amulet ended up with Dean.

oh my god I don't know how I missed this when you posted it the first time around but I love it every single bit as much as I do the other dæmon fic. Their characterizations are so good and honestly kid!fics are some of my absolute favorites and I love love love how Bobby just isn't surprised by them and takes it all in stride.
