Multiple Sclerosis sucks!

Mar 28, 2006 23:07

On April 29 and 30, I'm riding in the MS150 bike tour. It's an event held each year all around the country by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where thousands of cyclists get together and ride an absurdly long distance, all in the name of fun.

More importantly, though, all of these cyclists collect donations for the MS society, in order to help out with research and developing new treatments for this disease that affects thousands of people in your area, no matter where you live. More are diagnosed with it each day. MS won't cure itself, and research is expensive.

Anybody who knows me knows that I hate asking for money, but this is a damn good reason to do it. If you can make any kind of donation at all (no matter how small or large), please go to https://www.nationalmssociety.org//FLC/personal/default.asp?pa=54453862&pd=FLC0EMS120060429WWT and check out my personal page, where you can make a secure donation online directly to the National MS Society.

Thanks
