Based on the latest novel by author Niitsu Kiyomi (release date: 24 Sept 2008), Fuji TV’s upcoming winter drama Triangle tells the story of Goda Ryoji, a rookie police detective. He graduated from the faculty of medicine and became a doctor but quit his profession and changed careers to become a detective. Ryoji’s career choice is greatly influenced by an incident that he encountered in his past. When he was 10, Katsuragi Sachie, his first love was abducted and murdered. 15 years go by and when the statue of limitation runs out, Ryoji himself becomes a detective, determined to pursue this case. Then a beautiful woman who identifies herself as Katsuragi Sachi appears before him. She bears a strong resemblance to the dead Katsuragi Sachie. Ryoji is greatly shaken. Who exactly is this woman?

Goda and Sachi at Paris:
This drama remind me other detective series -Ryusei no Kizuna (three children investigating their parent's murder). The same point -surprise in the end. After watching the whole drama i couldn't guess who was the killer. Because this is the closest person and seems the whole drama as nice man, that u can trust and "helps" u with the case but...uuuppss...he's the killer! This point i figured out long ago but still didn't know who it is.So the conclusion is the same, the story has the same points and the victims at the end couldn't kill the responsible for everything.
It's a good suspense drama to watch. Goda is an excellent character. He's a rookie detective but he finds the clues, which lead him to the murderer who killed not only Sachie, his childhood love and classmate.
The series shows a great story. All the characters connected and the murder of ten year old girl affected a few people. Their lives changed forever. The scars from this murder affected the family, classmates, and Kuroki. Goda recollected the pieces and eventually found the killer.
The killer was actually connected to the victim and had revenge in mind. This story shows that murder has no statue of limitation. Even after 25 years they are still having scars. The mother that had too much pain after losing her beloved daughter, the classmate that liked the victim and was the first to find the body, the second classmate that found the body, the detective that couldn't solve the case. They all were left with no answers. Great detective story for me especially coz i like suspense stories. And my favorite actors - Goda and Yui.
