Summary: Desperation led Kim Jaejoong to request a love potion from his scientist-wannabe friend, Shim Changmin. His sunbaenim crush in school, Eric Mun is about to transfer abroad and he must find a way to prevent him from leaving. Using the self-made love potion called "One Shot", Jaejoong would do his best to seize his heart. Unfortunately, the potion was mistaken as a soda drink by the resident kingka, Jung Yunho... who accidentally falls in love with Jaejoong in just one shot. How will Kim Jaejoong escape from this mess?

I took a nap as soon as I arrived the house. My phone kept on ringing and vibrating, so I turned it off. It's getting irritating, I just want to sleep it off.
It's quarter to six in the evening when I woke up from that nap. The noise from the outside of my room had me awaken. My sister kept on banging the door so I groggily opened it. "Jae, there's a call for you!"
Scratching my head, I dismissed her. "What?! If it's Jung Yunho, tell him I'm not around!"
"But it's your bestfriend, Shim Changmin."
At times like this, I really need my bestfriend.
"Why aren't you answering your phone?"
"Changmin-ah, I'm going nuts." I buried my head on my lap. "Why must be Yunho, of all people?!"
"Hyung, you should be celebrating now instead of grieving. Tomorrow's the last day of the potion."
"Really?" I suddenly lifted my head and glanced at the calendar on the side table. Changmin's right. It's been two weeks. Time to get free from all of this madness. "Thanks for reminding me. But still, it's your fault."
"Jaejoong-hyung," I heard him sighed. "It's all up to you now. Good luck."
"What good luck? Are you kidding me?!"
But he hung up the phone already. That brat, seriously. He even said good luck to me. Wait 'til I get my hands on you Shim Changmin.
"Jaejoong, would you fetch Eunbyul-ie outside? It's getting dark already." My older sister asked me. "Oh, noona! When did you arrive? This afternoon?" She nodded. I followed her instruction and went outside to find my niece.
I saw her on the playground playing with a stranger. Wait, that person isn't new to me.
"Uncle Jae!"
"Why are you hanging out with my niece?" I glared at Yunho.
Yunho stood up and dusted off his pants. "She's your niece? I saw her playing alone on the playground."
"Uncle Jaejae, this oppa gave me a strawberry candy. You want some?"
"Eunbyul baby, it's getting dark so let's get you home. Your mom made you cookies."

When we arrived at the gate, my niece left me with Yunho. Why isn't he leaving? It's getting dark outside. So persistent.
"You know I'm still mad at you right?"

I looked away, seeing the post lamps on the street lit one by one. "You know I'm not gonna forgive you that easy."
"Oh yes, you will. After I show you something." Yunho grabbed my arm and dragged me somewhere. "Let's go."
"Yah! Where are you taking me?!" I shrieked upon riding his car.
I didn't know how a place like this exist. A big waterfall is visible due to the spotlight and the moonlit above. In front of it, there's a grand piano made of crystal glass. What a gorgeous sight.
"Amazed?" Yunho smirked upon seeing my reaction. "Not really." I replied, shrugging my surprised reaction from the view.
"Sit down."
Still awe at the beautiful place, I unconsciously sat down in front of the grand piano and opened the lid of the piano keys. It's all transparent, except the keyboard. It's too dazzling, just like the man behind me.
"I've never played piano for the rest of my life."
Suddenly, I felt a warm body leaning on my back. Yunho reached for my hand. I froze at the contact. He started playing the piano, guiding my fingertips to the black and white keys. I swear my heart is beating so fast; IT'S SO FRANTIC THAT HE CAN ALMOST FEEL IT ON MY BACK. MY GOD. HE'S BACKHUGGING ME.

"I'd still do it anyway." He leaned dangerously, our breaths nearly mingling. I can feel the tip of his nose trudging my cheek. I could only stay still, I can't find my own defense.

Wait. Since tomorrow's the last day of the potion, I must put an end on this.
I gently pushed him, looking away. "Yunho... let's meet tomorrow night at Han River."

"Just do it. Now send me home, it's getting late."
That night I failed to get a nice sleep, maybe because of the events that happened in just one day. Especially that sudden kiss, it replayed a few times all over my head. When I was brushing my teeth, that kiss popped into my head and I spurted in front of the mirror. The mirror was a mess. And so, my life.
I can't find proper clothes to wear for tomorrow evening. Until I fell asleep with the clothes scattered on my bed.
I planned to ditch Yunho the next day but I can't find excuses. He's extra times clingy today.
"Joongie, what are we going to do on the Han River?"
I'm going to push you on the bridge and end your life.

The people around us must been reading my mind, they keep on glaring holes at me.
I just ignored his question and finished my paperworks. He keeps on bugging me the whole period while majority of the class are side-eyeing us. Endure, Kim Jaejoong. You have 18 hours left.
"So it's really going to end today?" Changmin muffled as he ate his burger. I know how glutton this kid was, but where does his endless supply came from?
I grabbed a biscuit made of oats from the variety of food on the table, it's the most safe food. Others are full with carbs. Good thing Changmin doesn't get fat. "Why are you asking me when you're the one who made it? Of course it has to end! Things are getting worst."
"Really? Based on your expression, it seems that you want to extend it." He smirked.
I glared at him in return. "Fuck you, Shim."
"Enjoy while it last." Changmin sipped his drink. "I just hope you won't suffer after this, hyung."
"If that happens, I would offer you as a sacrifice."
As I reached home that afternoon, I rummaged on my closet and resumed on finding a good outfit for tonight. Almost all my pants are skinny jeans, and my shirts are fitted. WHY?! If I wear these, he might think I'm seducing him.
After hours of searching for the right outfit, I found a decent one. I covered my polo shirt with a long cardigan since it's a bit chilly during night time. And the skinny jeans, I can't really find a substitute for it. It's dark anyway, he won't notice. I applied a little makeup, as what my sister advised me.

We met each other in front of the Han River at quarter to seven in the evening. I saw him leaning his back on the hood of his car, looking exceptionally perfect with just casual clothes. I think I wore too much flashy. I'm such an idiot.

We got into his car and zoomed off the town to buy something to eat. We settled on chicken and beer, best combination ever. But Yunho didn't drink much, he has to drive the whole night. I can tolerate alcohol so I drank it. But I get dizzy because I'm riding a car.
To shake the alcohol off, he brought me to a cafe.
"What would you like, sir?" The barista asked. "One premium french vanilla frappucino please. Less sugar." I ordered. The barista looked at Yunho, asking for his order. "I'm not having any."
"May I have your name please?"
Before I could even answer, Yunho beat me to it. "Yunjae." And he also paid for my coffee. What am I, a freaking girl?
"Thank you! Just wait for five minutes, I'll ready your order."
We took our seat at the farther side of the cafe, away from the counter. "Why Yunjae?" I asked him.
"It's our couple name."
Ah, Yunho & Jaejoong. This childish human being. Alright, it was cute tho.
I saw him holding two straws. "Why are you holding two straws?"
"One for me, one for you." He smirked.
"I don't share my drink with anyone! Go order yours! I'll pay for it since you paid mine."
"No need. I just want to share a drink with you. Isn't that romantic?"
I could only sigh.
We took turns in sipping the drink. Good thing, there were no customers around. But the staffs were gossiping at us, seeing a male couple sharing a romantic drink.
Yunho didn't care tho, he just keep on chatting trivial things and such. We laughed on silly jokes he made. If this is the real Yunho, we might end up for reals. He's really fun to be with.
"Wait a minute." Yunho smiled and walked towards the other girl on the counter. What are they talking about that made her blush like that? When Yunho walked back to me, I saw her and the staffs went giggling to each other.
Yunho reached for the drink we shared and wrote something on its body. Oh, he borrowed a pen. When he's done, he showed it to me. "Keep it."
There beside on Yunjae, scribbled the date tonight and the exact time. 'The first time Jaejoongie asked me out! 💖'
Like a teenage girl in love. But admit it, it was cute.
Before the night ends, we decided to park his car and just stroll down for a walk in our neighborhood. Silence enveloped us as we walked on the sidewalk.
"Yunho..."
"Hmm?"
"What do you like about... me?"
I know it's wrong for me to ask him this... since he doesn't really like me in the first place.
"Everything. Love doesn't need reasons nor theories, as long as the heart knows what you want." Yunho smiled at me, looking innocent as ever. Why are you so difficult?

"S-same..."
I know how much I like Eric-sunbae. But this guy... he confuses me. This feeling is new to me. It's like, I've never felt this thing before. What's up with this ridiculously handsome guy? I know it's all because of that potion but... everything felt surreal.
But I don't want to be attached. I know he will leave me eventually... because the potion doesn't last forever.
I stopped at the middle of the empty overpass, causing him to halt in his tracks. "I'm fine up from here, you don't have to walk me straight home."
"You sure?"
I nodded, brushing off the sad feeling away. "Well then, take care."
I kissed him on the lips, saying my final goodbye. It's farewell, for reals. "Goodbye, Yunho-ah."
As I slowly walked away, my tears can't help it but to run down through my face.
I must be so attached with this Jung Yunho.
