Summary: Desperation led Kim Jaejoong to request a love potion from his scientist-wannabe friend, Shim Changmin. His sunbaenim crush in school, Eric Mun is about to transfer abroad and he must find a way to prevent him from leaving. Using the self-made love potion called "One Shot", Jaejoong would do his best to seize his heart. Unfortunately, the potion was mistaken as a soda drink by the resident kingka, Jung Yunho... who accidentally falls in love with Jaejoong in just one shot. How will Kim Jaejoong escape from this mess?

chapter two ;
Changmin adjusted his eyeglasses as he was observing the mixed liquids on the beaker. "So... Eric-sunbaenim is transferring? But he is the student council president at this moment."
Meet my bestfriend for life, Shim Changmin. He sounded like a serious introverted innocent nerd student but he is actually the opposite. He often steals my food, calls me rude names that he can recall, hits me with anything in his hand, pull an offensive remark, and the rest is history.
Wanna cite an example?
"His term would end after this school year." I slumped at the school laboratory's table.
"So? Just accept the fact that you would never get a single chance on him, nor even a spare."
I didn't know why we ended up together this whole high school life. He's not even supporting me in my life's decisions!
"Minnie! What should I do?!" I nagged at him, causing his potion to shake off. "Don't push it! My chemicals are going to explode!"
"What potion is this now?"
"I call it, 'One Shot'." He grinned.
Changmin loves experiments. In his free time, you will see him hovering over a thick ancient book on the darkest side of the library or in the empty laboratory room mixing formulas, just like now. And oh, did I mention he has a collection of porn? He would hang out on the school rooftop alone watching some. I even saw him jerking off while on it. Gross.
I don't really know what's running through his genius evil mind.
"... Don't tell me it has alcohol?" I raised my eyebrow as I saw a censored bottle of Soju.
"Well... slight? It's not that harmful. It's actually a love potion." He replied as he observed his creation with a smirk on his chapped lips.
"Love... potion...?"
A genius idea popped into my mind.
I scooted closer to my bestfriend, clinging on his shoulder. "Minnie, do you know how much I love you? You know, you're the best genius handsome adorable bestfriend I've ever had." I cooed.
"How sappy can you get?" He ignored my sweet words and continued what he was doing.
"You love me. You're just being hard to get." I smirked.
Changmin shoved me off. "Get off me! What are you implying? We can't be together for life. I don't like men."
"Idiot! What I'm saying is," I hissed. "Lend me this potion!"
The brat finally looked at me. "Seriously, you're this desperate?"
"Ichigo ichie! Carpe diem! YOLO! Remember?"
"Err, what is YOLO?"
"You only live once, duh! Don't you know simple internet expressions? And you call yourself a genius." I rolled my eyes.
Changmin stared at me in disbelief. "Hyung, I can't assure this potion is purely effective but it would only provoke someone's feelings upon intake."
"How long will it last then?"
"Two weeks, probably."
"Any side effects?"
"Greasiness? Over-the-top sweetness?"
"I don't care, let me have it." I grabbed the beaker and poured the contents in an empty bottle.
Changmin could only facepalm himself and groaned. "Jaejoong-hyung, you don't know what you're up to."
"Oh please, I know it too well." I smiled as I observed the love potion in my hands.
To my happiness, I pulled my bestfriend on his shoulders and smooched his cheek. "Thanks Minnie! I love you so much!"
"Ugh! Gross."
I sprinted off to search for Eric-sunbaenim. Since it's still breaktime, I might see him at the school's cafeteria. But he's not around. So I bought a soda drink as my props, mixed the liquids together and continued my search.
Then I spotted him alone sitting on the school library, reading a book.
CHANCE!
But how to approach him? I need reasons!
Act natural, NATURAL!
I slowly dragged my feet closer to his location, hands trembling on the soda drink I'm holding. He was too immersed with his book that he didn't notice the drink I put on the table. Ugh, I just have to hand it over to him and make him drink all of it. Why can't I do it? I'm such a chicken, hiding over bookshelves and staring hopelessly.
Suddenly, the bell rang throughout the library, reminding everyone that breaktime is over. Soon, students are starting to go back to their classes... including sunbae.
But wait! He left the drink on the table! Heck, he didn't even touch it.
"Stupid potion!" I silently groaned.
I was about to retrieve the drink when someone took it instead. Oh my God, that's... !!!
"Y-Yunho-ssi... that's..." I whispered as I saw Jung Yunho approaching the table where the soda drink is. Aish, it's forbidden to scream here on the library.
Seems like he doesn't hear my pleading and just opened the bottle. Shit!
"That's not a regular soda drink! It's..."
Without hesitations, he gulped the drink.
"WAIT! NOOOOOOO!!!"
It's too late. The once filled bottle is now empty.
"Don't shout at me. You're in the library." He muttered under his breath.
We stared for a few minutes... until the librarian pulled us out of the library. Well, because I screamed my lungs out so the librarian had to throw us out.
I looked at the kingka who looks kinda lost on his thoughts. "Are you... okay?" Observing the kingka, looks like something weird took over him. Did the potion work?
"It tastes bad, what the fuck." He threw me the bottle and walked away from me.
Wait... nothing happened on him? He didn't turn into a lovesick fool just like what Changmin described on the love potion.
That whole night I was bothered with Yunho drinking the potion. Maybe he has a strong stamina that he can fight off the potion's power. Or maybe the whole thing is just a fraud thing.
All my assumptions were wrong.
The next morning, in front of our gate... You won't believe it. Jung Yunho greeted me holding a bouquet of flowers, wearing that foolish smile on his face.
The icy Jung Yunho would never smile like that.
"Morning, my Jaejoongie."
And most definitely... Jung Yunho would never tell something like that.
