Hi! I can't believe I'm writing another fanaccount again after like, 2 years from the pandemic 🥺 It's been a week as I'm writing at the moment. After absorbing every detail that I can recall from the events that transpired @ BKK, I finally got my shit together and gathered my thoughts. Warning: this is a very long one. Feel free to [x] if this bores you or grab a snack or something while reading. Enjoy diving into my feels.
Okay, where to begin?
To give you a bit of my fangirl background, Kim Junsu has been my ultimate bias since 2009. He's not my first bias (Jaejoong is my first back @ 2007) but definitely the last. Loljk Kento's my last 🤣 Anyway, as a fan of TVXQ and JYJ for the past 13 years, I miraculously managed to attend their concerts & fanmeetings; starting from Jaejoong in Manila, Yoochun & TVXQ in Hongkong (yas that 2-in-1 day event!!), TVXQ in Taipei, and Tohoshinki in Nagoya. Kim Junsu is the last one on my bucket list LMAO save the best for the last I guess? 😅
Kim Junsu (he doesn't use XIA anymore due to copyright stuff) did an album comeback last March, it's called DIMENSION. It's so surprising that he prepared this all by himself (with all his own staff & crew) while doing nonstop musicals (Xcalibur Musical ended around that time and he got the reprise role of L on Death Note Musical after) Around May, Palmtree Island (Junsu's own agency--Yas CEO JUNCE) suddenly announced the Asia tour of Dimension. He only got 2 stops which were Bangkok & Tokyo. Of course, Manila doesn't exist on his map as usual. 😒 When I found out that the PH tourist travel ban was finally lifted, fuck being indecisive asdhffjjfkdjdk I didn't hesitate and executed everything. Kinda costly but MANNNNNN THE EXPERIENCE WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT IN THIS 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS TRIP. PAPARATING PALANG TAYO SA EXCITING PART MGA SIZTTTT 😏🤩
Ticketing day! (20220521) I found PH fans who are also going to the concert. Mary works in Thailand so she helped me and Ate Dan purchase everything. We call ourselves "Basureras for Kim Junsu" 🤣 We managed to adjust our seats from Row 12 to Row 7 without paying additional charges. Lucky seven indeed! ❤️

But before we dive into my concert feels, did I mention that there was a FANSIGN EVENT on the day I flew to Bangkok? YES YOU READ IT RIGHT. And this girl managed to enter the event OMG special thanks to @AboveBeyondTVXQ 😭 A lot of tragic moments happened before this (I lost my wallet @ Manila and got it back within 24 hours 😭 I got kicked from Top 12 spenders' list 😔 We got stuck in a heavy traffic going to the venue) but let's not dwell on that. Back to the main event. On the registration, we were given an ID lace with color green in it. Green doesn't have the fansign perk but we get to sit inside while watching him and the Goodbye Session which miraculously turned into a Hi-Touch because BEST BOI KIM JUNSU!!! just went "I'm breaking my rules again~" cues Mirotic He initiated that HIMSELF. Sweet cutiepie.

And did I mention that someone exchanged seats with me just to be seated with her friend that happens to sit beside me? INSANE RIGHT?? Bless their friendship. Meanwhile, my friends are at the back and I couldn't do anything for them LOL. So, from seat no. 47 → 33 😱 The biggest plot twist: I was able to look him in the eye and touch his hand!!! IT'S SO DAMN SOFT I CAN STILL FEEL HIM AT THE PALM OF MY HAND DESPITE WASHING MY HANDS ISTG 😭 I'm still sobbing at this point, excuse me while I creyyyyy--

Concert day! (20220625) We arrived at Thunderdome by noon, the Airbnb we booked was just 30 mins away. It rained so hard, but miraculously stopped before the gates went open. I met lots of fans, local & international ones. They are so kind & heartwarming. The atmosphere was so nice, we shared the same feelings & sentiments. I gave them the keychains from @AboveBeyondTVXQ's last event and I got to exchange them with their freebies as well. When we entered the venue, GOD. WHY IS THIS SO DAMN CLOSE??? 🥺 Thunderdome is too intimate and I like it so much because there's no mosh pit or standing area. We all just sat in our chairs. So comfortable.

At 5PM TH, the lights went out. The moment he rose up on the stage, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HE LOOKS SO HANDSOME AND COOL AND AKJSJSLSJSKS sorry keysmashing is my forte. I watched the Seoul one online and some songs from the setlist got changed. He didn't manage to bring Hyolyn, but it's okay 😅 Anyway, what you really see in pictures and videos is the same in person. His dance moves are so fucking insane 🔥 We got to see his sexy back a lot of times ugh bless Dimension era clothes 🥵 He's a total sexc in the flesh. His angelic voice melted my ears with his ballad 😭 This is exactly why he is my ultimate bias. HE'S PRACTICALLY ALL IN ONE. I could never ask for more.

Then came Genie Time. He asked if Thai fans still remember this segment ‘cos it's been a while. He knows how all of us are coming to other artists' concerts LMAO He gave us consent because he's a generous person, he'll let you cheat on him but don't get caught in the act 🤣 He's so cute. He was scolding first timers in his broken English like, "Why... is now... first time?!" 🤡 Hello sir, you don't even come to the Philippines. Turns out, those first timers are from Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia (he even cracked dad jokes like, "Malaysia, I am Xia" lol) Australia--OKAY SO AT THIS POINT WE TOTALLY SCREAMED AND RAISED THE BANNER WE MADE AND AND AND HE MIRACULOUSLY TURNED AROUND AND READ OUR BANNER!!! 🥺 HE EVEN TALKED TO US FOR A BIT UGH. He's such a sweetheart. He's confused if this is still Thailand lol so many foreigners. Then proceeds to sing "We are the world~" 🤣 But anyway, he acknowledged our presence huhuhu I still can't believe it. I never dreamed of having this moment in my 13 years of fangirling life because it’s kind of impossible and I'm so unlucky in real life. He mentioned the Philippines again for the nth time. Someone please pinch me 🤧
Anyway, back to Genie Time. Most of the song requests are from Death Note which is cute cos they made him sing Misa & Rem songs. Even sang the song he composed with Aancod during Slow Trip. He sang Love Breath too which is one of my faves 🥺 The balance game made by Vietnamese fans is so fun. Junsu read all of them in English and we can finally relate 🤣 The VCRs are so entertaining too, it’s full of Junsu’s cuteness which made me squeal for the entire night.
I love how he managed to include 2 or more songs from his entire albums. It’s so well-balanced, it practically summarizes him as an established long time solo singer. As us, the only Filipino in the crowd, sings along with him because it’s my ultimate dream to sing a duet with him in person. Reach is one of my favorite songs, how can I not sing? Then, I finally succumbed to my tears when he sang Writing You. It's too beautiful, my heart hurts so much.
OEO-Out of Control-Flower medley was so damn lit! He nailed every dance move. Age check! Attendees' age demographics goes from 10's to 50's. Of course, I screamed for the 20's. He even called the 40s noona & 50’s mama & papa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA so cute.
Encore! Incredible & Sakuranbo sucked the life out of me. He made us stand up in our seats and jumped with him. Actually, I didn't expect that we're going to dance Sakuranbo in the end LMAO I thought the concert's over when Incredible ended. Another first! I used to dance to Sakuranbo in front of my computer monitor LMAO now I'm doing the real thing! Incredible already took my soul but I gathered my last strength for that night and stood up again for him. God, I love him so much but I had to keep up with this Sagittarius' insane energy. He drains me a lot. This guy, really. HAHAHAHA
It was so funny when he was instructing us hahahaha I can't with this man. He complimented our section a lot ‘cos we're fast-learners. The steps of Sakuranbo need the cooperation of everyone so we need to compress ourselves in the center and put our arms on each other's shoulders. Love the camaraderie during Sakuranbo, Junsu bringing all fans closer together. He mentioned the Philippines again first along with other countries. I melted once again. Actually, I lost count at how many times he mentioned our country. Why is he so full of surprises? Everything he does is so cute.
At the ending ment, he thanked his staff and dancers for a good job. I'm so surprised that Gunyoung got promoted to a dance director in Junsu's company?! I've watched his growth too along with these men, he's the long time dancer of TVXQ/JYJ before. Glad he continued to stick with Junsu, their friendship is so cool. Sana all nagtatagal. Charez
3+ hours was too long but it felt too short. Every moment with Junsu is a blissful one. I didn't feel any anxiety at all, just pure blissful happiness. His sunshine aura really gives energy and happiness around the room. Everyone was so smitten, even the passer-bys on Donki Mall who just happened to see the fansign event outside. Even the organizer's staff are swooning, like posing and taking photos in front of his tarpaulin. A lot of firsts happened to me during this trip; my first time joining a fansign event, my first time in Thailand, my ultimate bias' first solo concert, and my first interaction with him!!! The last one is still a dreamy & hazy memory to me LIKE, did it really happen? Then I look at the footage again from the fans and akdshkldshkld 😭 I wasn't informed that I'll be getting all of these in just one trip. Reminds me of Yoochun & TVXQ back in Hongkong. Thank you Lord. I'll focus on attending Junsu's concerts and activities from now on. Sorry guys. HAHAHAHAHA. His concert is like, the MOST INTERACTIVE CONCERT I’VE EVER ATTENDED HAHAHAHAHA it's so life-changing. I just need a lot of energy to keep up with his Sagittarius' fiery energy. LMAO Next agenda is his musical career but let's not jinx that. Glad that I'm not the only one who's happy 😭 Hope all of us can experience something like this 'cos everyone deserves their own moment ❤️ Mine happened earlier than expected 💙
