Hold on, I'm deciding whether to laugh or cry.

Also, I've gone through the non-fare gate in a couple of situations when I've had mechanical problems with the damn cards, and NO ONE has ever siad "We didn't process your farecard". They say "What the hell are you doing?" or "STOP!"

if you are having problems, you can always just walk through right after someone else (if you've got a smarttrip card or don't mind pretending to swipe one). The gate stays open long enough. (Note--I don't do this intentionally, but I've had it happen where I've been kind of zoned out and the "re-touch smarttrip card" message doesn't register until I've already walked on through).

I guess that's why they didn't go with 'yo, bitch. buy a farecard!'

Of course, for true realism, Kidman would get to the escalator, and tourists would be standing all over it so she couldn't get down it and she'd miss her train and then they would announce a delay and the next train that came through would be too full for her to get on and she's totally be alien fodder.

I dont know, I think a more accurate line would be "Ma'am, you didnt process your...OH HOLY HELL, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?"

She *is* being chased by an alien or something, right?

Is it actually going to BE the DC Metro this time around? Cause it's never the actual DC Metro, cause they've never allowed movie or TV filming before, which leads to things like someone going down an escalator in DC and ending up in the Baltimore subway system.
