(no subject)
Audrey went to the doggie hospital last night because she got into beth's medicine- naproxen (aka Aleve) which is anti-inflammatory 500mg.She ate 4. Naproxen in dogs can cause bleeding ulcers in the intestines and kidney failure. Since it had already been over an hour since she ate them when we found out, they couldn't induce vomiting. So we had to take her to the hospital where they had to IV her, take blood tests and ingest her with charcoal stuff that absorbs the drugs. She had to be sedated for them to ingest her with the charcoal stuff cause she wouldn't drink it. I guess today she as doing good and they took her for a walk and said she felt better. She loves her walks. I was really sad cause I didn't get to see her before I left. But before she went to the hospital I said goodbye to her and she licked me. She should be home tomorrow morning. It is costing my parents like $800 which is a lot, but she is important to us. Its no more than a car repair. I cried last night and was really worried for her. I love her.
Today at church Mrs. Joy (my third grandmother) gave me a present, just because I wrote her a letter when she was having a bad day. She said that she said "God, I don't like how I feel today. So I'll help myself by knowing you are helping me" and then she got the letter from me, and thought it was a joke when her husband told her I sent a letter. She said she keeps it and whenever she is having a bad day reads it. So anyway, she got me one of those little dogs that breathes and snores and ITS LOOKS LIKE AUDREY. She said it can keep me company at school since I can't take Audrey with me. I think its awesome cause I needed it today, and she has no idea what Audrey looks like!
I got a sweet London bag from Hannahs parents and its awesome. There'll be a picture on facebook soon!
