This is so bullshit. I applied at Chili's on campus a little while ago and yesterday I got a call from the guy at the Aramark hiring office asking me to come in for an interview. Naturally I assume this is an interview for Chili's as Aramark does all of the food services on campus and thats were I had applied.
I go in there today and he asked me what I wanted to do, I responded "I'd love to be a server or hostess at Chili's" That is the last time Chili's was mentioned. Apparently they were interviewing me for a job selling concessions at baseball games.
Am I happy to have had an interview for a job? Yes.
Am I happy that Aramark doesn't give a shit about what you apply for? Not really.
Basically my problem is I feel like I applied to be a teacher and they interviewed me for a job in the cafeteria. There is nothing wrong with this job, just that I didn't actually apply for it.
