I need to just book the dang tickets.
The spouse and I have talked and fantasized about an east coast vacation (including FunSpot, home to eleventy billion arcade games) for almost two years now. It got derailed last year when he found out he was being laid off, but this year, dammit, were going to do it.
The plan is to fly into Boston or Manchester, NH, visit the arcade, and then drive up to Maine. The uptight part of me wants to book hotels for all of it, but it might be kind of fun to play it by ear after the arcade. I usually over-plan and turn vacations into a death march of activities.
Any recommendations for places we absolutely must see in Maine? I'm leaning toward going in the fall, but I don't know if my sanity will make it that far.
Also: is anyone else kind of disgusted that LJ now has Facebook-like games? Guess you can't pay the bills with hugging teddy bear .gifs...
