Hum∀ns Episode 6 (08-02-15)
Some spoilers about the episode / series up to this point also some comparison 'Dollhouse'(2009-2010) probably the latter portions so go watch all of that and come back (or don't).

I'm a bit disappointed. They're rushing. They did too much.
What's left now they spilled most of the beans. The series was running on intrigue and premature exposure and most of it's gone. The 'Tom' plotline needed to be better(?), it's intriguing drama. Little "innocuous" secrets can cause big problems. I guess it's not a huge shock since we saw the photo and could pretty much figure it from the start. It was dramatic catalyst.
I also really really liked the whole Anita/Mia thing. That will still be tasty. She has to pretend to be Anita around the kid? Will she work in the home? How does that happen? What about all her action with the family now that she's awake/aware/sentient?
Also will she get a "character" or will she be generically wonderful? Maybe she likes the husband, maybe she intensly dislikes
him. Maybe she likes the Mum … maybe she really likes the Mum. Far too sensational but that would definitely be a different way to go. She'll be intriguing to see.
Leo's no longer as interesting, whereas he was once perhaps the most intriguing part of the show. Does he have anymore secrets.
Fred is scary-ish. Max is nice but stupid. Nishka and Dr. Millican are intriguing. Regardless of what they seem to do.
Though I liked how it was like the "3rd seasons of Dollhouse" all the weird little stuff Anita wasn't supposed to know, somehow that was intensely intriguing. It was creeping along at a good clip, but now we decided to short circuit it. I'm a bit disappointed. I guess it's not like Dollhouse where she's breaking the rules for the first time with all the other sentient synths up and waking around, but I really liked it for some reason.
Maybe what comes next will be good too. It has been so far.
So the only driving mystery that remains is who is the detective synth? Who made her? What's her deal? She seems to be sentient.
Minor mystery about the guy on the government task force. Is everything on the "up and up" with him.
Why are we in such a rush. Maybe they're setting up something really good, but it seems all the mysteries have been revealed ☹ so then what? It's been great, but maybe it's different now, hopeful as good.
