WHEDONESQUE-TYPE GEEKINESS
My WB affiliate thinks college basket-ball is more important than Angel. Though Angel will run in the middle of the night. I don't like the inconvenience, but it's better than forgetting it altogether. If anyone actually reads my two cents on Angel episodes, this week's will appear on Thursday night instead, (dork).
Though glancing at a preview, I'm unimpressed. Flash-backs are good, Theme-ed flashbacks or theme-ed anything ... not so much. If Joss Whedon were writing, yes it could work, but he isn't. And this year of things that could've worked few have. it will be on the dinky and stupid - side, unless it proves me wrong (big dork).
Whedonesque had optimistic news today.
MONEY.
Greenspan will speak on Wednesday and Thursday, hopefully I my portfoilo will have money afterward (dork, but I turn a 20% profit so far this cushions the pain of dork-dom.) . I've had a good start to the week.
BOOKS
I keep saying I'm going to get to the bookstore, but it never happens... I want to soon. I want a tad more fiction (Some of which I will read some of which I may never read.) . I'll probably end up spending too much at the used bookstore, that's a given I think.
I keep looking for O'reilly to adknowledge the existence of this , but they have yet to do it on their site? I really hope it'll come out... I ought to be reading things which are more challenging, well challenging for me anyway.
