(no subject)
So Afton didn't make Farm this year. I am more disapointed then I thought I would be. It's really quite silly I mean he has only been playing for one season and although he did great that season (for never picking up a bat and ball for any more than a few seconds in his life) he obviously didn't go far enough to make Farm. There is always next year, right?
I had to break the news to him tonight. He was disapointed, but I pointed out that it would only allow him to practice even more and then he can really make Farm next year. I guess I need to be a better mom anyways and get out there and throw the ball some more. He does great with grounders but fly balls...well thats another story.
Okay, enough. Get over it. He is playing ball! He still has plenty of time to accomplish his goal of "being like Babe Ruth" when he grows up, right?
