Pics from the "Doctor Strange" set in Nepal have surfaced, and I'm enjoying them a lot. Seriously, though, this man just stepped off the stage of the Barbican 4 days ago when he closed Hamlet... and now he's in Nepal shooting a movie. I am awed.

I dig the look, and I love how his eyes pop out in this pic. Don't know much about the character but this intrigues me a lot. But it's Benedict so of course I'm interested *g* Also, Mads Mikkelsen joined the cast and that's all the more reason for wishing it was already November 2016 so I could watch the movie already.
While on the subject of movies and favorite actors, I found this meme on Tumblr and decided to play with it. And post it here because that's what I do.
What’s the most depressing movie you’ve ever watched?
“Steel Magnolias”. It’s beautiful and the story is compelling and very well told, but boy I couldn’t stop crying for days!
What’s the most disturbing movie you’ve ever watched?
A few came to mind but I think I have to go with
“Murder in the first” because I remember being so very deeply affected by the story and so very disturbed by the abuse.
An actor/actress you’ve seen in more than 8 movies? Name the movies.
There are many, tbh, but I’ll have to go with Michelle Pfeiffer for obvious reasons. And 8 of the movies I saw her in are: “White Oleander”, “Wolf”, “Ladyhawke”, “One Fine Day”, “Dangerous Minds”, “The Age of Innocence”, “The Witches of Eastwick”, and my beloved “Frankie and Johnny”.
A film you could watch on repeat for the rest of your life?
I don’t think I could choose just one. It changes, actually. If you’d asked me this question when I was a teen, the answer would have been “Flashdance” (lol). A few years ago I was obsessed with “Peter’s Friends” and I watched that one over and over. Lately I’d say “Pride and Prejudice” because I’m on a “omg I want a Mr Darcy” binge nowadays, but I expect that to change soon. So yeah, can’t really answer.
What’s the very first film you remember watching?
“E.T. The Extraterrestrial” because it was the very first movie I saw in a cinema with my grandmother.
A film you wish you hadn’t watched?
Everything in the Twilight saga. Filed under “the things I had to watch for my sister to make up for all the things she watches just for me.” Still, hours of my life I’ll never get back.
A film you wish had a sequel?
Confession: I’m not that fond of sequels. I mean it’s always good to get more of the story and to find out more about characters you loved, but sequels are usually very disappointing for me so I’m not sure I would wish them on my favorite movies.
Which book would you like to see adapted into a film?
Keep my books away from the movies! Every single book I loved that has been turned into a movie or a TV show sucked so bad I wanted to scream. Except for “The Shawshank Redemption”, of course.
The most aesthetically pleasing movie you’ve ever watched?
I think I might have to go with
“Sense and Sensibility” here. I love the landscapes, the costumes, and I love how it was shot.
What’s your favourite movie director?
I’m not entirely sure I have one? I’d have to go with Joss Whedon but only because Joss is the Boss and I’ll always bow to him (and only my friends from the Buffy fandom will get the reference.)
Your favourite movie genre?
Usually I’d say comedy (romantic comedies especially) but lately I’m very fond of thrillers and crime movies so… yeah.
A movie that holds a special place in your heart?
“Labyrinth” because I first watched it with my sister and it became a habit for us to watch it together after that first time. I think the only time I saw that movie by myself was when I watched it in English and not the dubbed version.
Your favourite comedy film?
“The Breakfast Club” hands down.
A music video you would love to see developed into a film?
Adele’s
new video for her song “Hello”.
A film everyone loves but you hate?
I think I’ll have to go with “Titanic” here. Everyone I know loves it and rewatches it everytime it reruns on TV, and I can’t stand the sight of it.
A film you love but everyone else hates?
“Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy”. There isn’t anyone outside of the Benedict Cumberbatch’s fandom that told me they loved this movie. Everyone fell asleep in the middle of it… but I love it so very much *sighs*
Which cinematic universe would you like to live in?
Definitely Harry Potter.
What’s your favourite biopic?
“The Imitation Game”. Was there EVER any doubt?
Mainstream movies or indie movies?
Both? It really depends on the movie for me. And the actors.
Old movies or contemporary movies?
Again, both. Can’t choose!
A film with an amazing soundtrack?
“Begin Again”. Also, awesome movie. If you haven’t seen it, do it now.
