I'm back! Had quite the relaxing time away but I have to admit I'm pleased to be home. Oh! And before I get to the meme:
It's a boy!!!!!!!! LOL! Congratulations to Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter for the birth of their first child :) So happy for the new mommy and daddy! I always thought Benedict would like to have a son so I'm sure he's over the moon now. *is pleased for the happy couple*
10 Days TV-Related meme:
2 - Two favorite villains
1 - James Moriarty as played by Andrew Scott in "BBC Sherlock". *points to icon* He's the baddie you can't help but adore and he's so funny while being totally crazy and impossibly evil. Masterfully played, imo, and tbh I can't exactly imagine any other Moriarty being as compelling as Andrew's. I swear I could basically sit there and watch Benedict's Sherlock and Andrew's Moriarty talk for the entire length of the episode and it'll be perfectly all right by me. I could listen to those two interact for ever.
2 - Hannibal Lecter as played by Mads Mikkelsen in "Hannibal". I've said this before in another answer for this meme but it bears repeating: I enjoyed the movies immensely and Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of the character is iconic. BUT! I have never been as intrigued, attracted, repulsed, amused, frightened, and let's face it...in love with Hannibal until I saw Mads' version of the character. And the idea that he's not a cannibal because cannibalism implies that one is eating an equal, and Hannibal sees himself as superior - God-like basically - is one I'd never even thought of until they pointed it out in the show. It's an insight into the character that's so interesting... and damn scary!
