I've been asked to say something and to say it publicy, and here I am. This post is public.
As many of you might now, I contribute with a few translations to the work that is done on the websites
Gale Harold.it and on
Randy Harrison.it. I personally know the owner of the website and she is not only a dear friend of mine but, as you know if you ever exchanged a word with her, a great person. Always forthcoming, always respectful, always ready to help when needed.
evy_9_seconds never posted anything on her websites without having explicit permission by the owner. She works really hard, I can guarantee that because more often than not I try to help her, so I know just how much passion and work she invests in her websites. And often she sees her hard work copied word by word on other websites... and believe me, it's frustrating. Everyone have the right to do their own website if they so choose. The more, the merrier! Provided though that they walk with their own legs and their own work.
evy_9_seconds is a very sensitive person and takes everything at heart. Sometimes, and I told her that a lot (lol), she should try to be more detached, but I know her and I know she's unable not to care too much about things. And frankly, I love her for that... even if sometimes she gets very hurt because of that.
This is getting a bit long so I'm cutting here, but please keep reading.
Lately I have been asked by two different persons if the Facebook page 'Gale Harold online' was connected to her website about Gale. It's not. The website's Facebook is
here.
It's also come to my attention that some people are going around and talking badly about
evy_9_seconds. I know for a fact that someone who was friended to her on FB, defriended her right after having become a member of the other FB page. I'm not saying those other people are responsible for that because I don't have proof and it's not my place to say that... but it makes you think. Especially because
evy_9_seconds recently asked those other people to take down a lot of pictures, obviously taken from her website, for which they, contrary to
evy_9_seconds, didn't have the owner's permission.
They did take down the pics, and they did apologize, so all should have been well. Only it wasn't because they told
evy_9_seconds that she should apologize, too, for insulting them. Now, let me tell you,
evy_9_seconds didn't insult anyone. What she did was venting about something that had upset her IN A LOCKED POST on FB.
Leaving out the frustration of having locked posts reported to non-friended persons, I think we all one way or another, have ranted about something/someone sooner or later. Is that a crime? Is that reason to go around and spread bad words about someone? You tell me.
Anyway, what I wanted to say here was: if you know
evy_9_seconds, if you ever spoke to her once, if you appreciated her work at least once, try to remember what you know when/if someone comes to tell you bad things about her. That's all I ask :)
Thank you for listening.
