Aargh! The choices, they make no sense to me!
This is pretty much an ill-informed opinion, I'm usually oblivious to questions of technique and pay far too much attention to which dancer is the prettiest... just letting you know.
My major rant is about Cedric. They let him into the top 10, he's dragged his partner down twice and they still keep him? WTF? Worse still is the toll he has taken. They chose him over Ricky in the first elimination, and Ricky was one of my favourite dancers, as much as I hate to agree with Mia. Then they take Jimmy out. I'm a little more ambiguous about that - he hasn't grabbed my attention as a solo performer, though I think his dancing is very pretty, he was half of my favourite couple (not the best couple, but the one that I had the most fun watching). To add insult to injury, he dragged Faina down.
Faina was one of my favourite female dancers. As far as I can tell, Anya is the more technically proficient dancer in their style, but to me she seems a little too polished and wooden. Faina is a messier dancer but she has so much more sex appeal.
I wonder how they pick the couples. With one or two exceptions, I think they had some really odd pairings, which gave significant disadvantages to several of the dancers.
Really, this season is bringing home just how much chance plays a role in this show - the style you pick from a hat, and the partners you end up with.

Dominic is very young.
Hok is so much fun, I want him to stay a while.
Jessie has started to disappoint me - I really like her in the auditions and at Vegas, but she just did a really crappy solo that could have got her voted out if her overall performance wasn't so good.
Neil is cute.
I would have loved to see Jesus and Faina dance the passe doble - we would have been puddles.
Jaimie and Shauna are growing on me, even if Shauna reminds me of Claire from Heroes.
Sabra is now my favourite of the female dancers. Sorry Sabra, this means you may not last much longer.
Sarah is very cute, she and Jesus make a great couple.
