woot! i got an A in 480. i guess the portfolio didn't affect me much at all. that or Dr. Barber realized what she had done wrong and that since she knows me so well, that it had to be an issue on her part rather than mine. this is where it's good to have your professor know you. 1) she's my advisor, 2) i work for her so she knows how hard i work and how i work. clearly the fact that i was missing things from the portfolio was due to her passing out 5 different grading sheets for it and changing her mind too many times on what she wanted in it. Plus i had given it to her, asked her to look it over and tell me if it was missing anything so that i could take care of it before break, and then when i asked she said it looked perfect and nothing was missing. she dropped the ball. Well at least i got an A. ^_^
