Who: Terry and Padma
What: Padma gets her furry little surprise
When: BACKDATED! June 9, 2000
Where: Their flat
Rating: PG-13

The past few days in the flat had been a great deal better than the previous ones. Since the two decided on their pact- Padma works but takes breaks for meals and bed- the working process had been going smoothly. However the essay was still tiring and the witch was still having her moments stressing over the whole project. The break with Bill had been much appreciated and it did help her remember why she suffered so, it was also a slap in the face. She wanted to go to Egypt. So did Terry. Doing things like this seemed so degrading at times. Maybe it was to make sure they knew what they were doing and the Goblins were not all that bad. Right and sleeping in her own bed was not relaxing.

Speaking of, every time that thought sprang into the Indian girl's mind, sections of light pink tinted her cheeks and ears. It had been an awkward first two nights together. They slept on their own sides of the bed and did not move. At least she did not move, always with her arm off the side of the bed and her back to her boyfriend. It was looking like a bad idea until the previous night when they had finally given up on personal space and just crashed into bed with little thought. That meant they did not take the time to put space between themselves and in the morning, Padma woke up with the large arm of her boyfriend comfortably laying across her waist. Though shocked, she noticed how the alarm had yet to wake up Terry- in fact the man did no wake up until she moved to turn off the alarm. They should have gotten up at that time but she was still tired and went back to sleep for another two hours- not before moving back against her boyfriend for body warmth of course. She woke back up to find his arm had taken its place on her side once more and Terry was out cold. Unfortunately she did not have the time to fall asleep again and had to wake him up.

Sometime in the early afternoon, said male disappeared to go visit his brother. That seemed to be a new thing- Dean and Terry days. It was nice to picture siblings getting along like she and her sister did at one time. It was too bad they no longer were tightly knit. Maybe it was being in two different houses, but the past was the past. At the moment, Russia was more important than pondering the inner workings of Parvati. Instead the inner workings of the ancient Russian Empire was the topic of the day and judging by the progress, possibly on it's last leg. In fact the time it took Terry to visit his brother, the essay was all but finished. Hearing the door's lock click, Padma's eyes flickered to the corridor briefly before returning to the book. The door opened but she did not speak until she heard it shut.

“Give me one minute, I am on the last sentence,” she called into the hallway from her position on the L shaped couch.
