Padma, who had been in an area slightly off from the commotion did not see Michael fall or hear his announcement- only heard Susan's screams for one of the Healers at ground zero. Startled, she looked over to where the other group of rescuers stood, Michael on the ground and Theodore over him. She smacked Terry's arm as hard as possible to get his attention. Not sure what had happened, the witch didn't wait for Terry to respond and started to move her way into the group, trying her best to draw level with Susan as fast as possible.

When her eyes caught sight of Michael's pale complexion, his blood, and heard his raspy breathing her heart dropped as her own color began to fade. Padma quickly dropped to her knees beside Theodore her hand gingerly brushed on both men's skin.

"What happened?" she asked, voice failing to remain calm.

KNowing that she would not get a look directly in the eyes, the witch still looked at Theo with her wide eyes and head tilted to keep Michael in her sights; her hand pushed back some of Michael's hair hoping that some breeze on the neck would help him relax until a Healer finally made their way.

Susan shoved her way back through the crowd with Healer Stone at her side and immediately dropped down on the opposite side of Padma, pushing her own fringe out of the way so that she could get a better look.

"I'm sorry, Theodore." She said, her eyes fixed on the older Healer and her actions, absorbing everything. "I couldn't stop. You understand. Michael, don't try and speak. It's going to be all right."

Susan wasn't sure of that at all, but it felt like the right thing to say.

Michael laid upon the ground, tearing at his chest and desperate for either breath to return or pain to subside. It was crushing, and his first fear was that somehow, he was having a heart attack. Being a healthy bloke, Michael felt betrayal swell in the cracks left behind by his deafening panic. He tried to look at Padma, and Theodore, and eventually Susan but his world was getting fuzzy. Black was closing in on him, but Michael knew he had to fight too stay conscious.

He coughed and undulated again, tasting fresh blood in his throat and mouth which he spewed forth. No, something was wrong... and it has to have been the wards!
