"For BBC News, I'm Katy Kay. Now we go directly to an unusual scene for Londoners, as apparently The New London Architecture Project is under an unexpected beginning. We here at BBC-1 did not learn of this story until the previous building on the site was imploded at 12:45pm this afternoon. Conflicting reports of an explosion with many wounded have contrasted to the official reports coming from 10 Downing Street as well as the Lord Mayor's office. On-scene reporter Pendleton Teller has more."

"Thank you Katy, and indeed it is a mystery as Londoner curiosity has brought hundreds to what is certainly an inauspicious beginning to a project which was supposed to mark London's triumphant step into the twenty-first century. We--"

Michael pressed the remote control of the tiny TV, its screen going black. He sighed, brushing his fingers along the medium-length hair of the back of his head. His dark grey eyes shifted to the people beyond the TV, as arcs of glittering energy spewed sporadically from their wands. It was the first line of defense- volunteers now working towards the maintenance of the elaborate illusion that was keeping the statutes of secrecy on life-support.

"So thats what the Muggles are calling this for now." Michael said as he turned among the gathered people around him- all of them hastily assigned and conscripted together by some low-level bureaucrat who had been fortunately at lunch. "Secretary Perkins said they've been trying to round up Obliviators to try and undo the damage, but alot of them are unfortunately down there. Anyway..." Michael shifted, looking to Liam and Padma, then Susan. Liam he knew as a loyal and regular customer of his store. Padma was, of course, a fellow DA member. Susan Michael knew slightly less well, having met her through the DA of course but also as a friend of Ernie's.

"So..." Michael hesitated, his brow scrunching. He had to fight off the overwhelming scope of this for a moment. "So how many of you have experience unweaving wards? I know it wasn't exactly covered in Ancient Runes but..." Michael hopefully looked to the group, but was unable to find a smile.
