Quango to Receive 20,000 Galleon Grant
The wizarding aid and service group, Quango, is to receive an unprecedented 20,000 galleon grant from the Ministry of Magic. This is a first for the group, whose previous efforts, though noteworthy, were funded entirely out-of-pocket.
"We believe Quango has a bright future," newly promoted Quango Advisor, Arthur Weasley, told the press. "Though the initial grant is small by government standards, a group of this kind is also a first in Wizarding Brtain. We look forward to seeing Quango's growth."
Quango was founded in part by Luna Lovegood - daughter of gossip magazine owner, Xenophilius Lovegood - and by celebrated war heroine, Hermione Granger. The group is also backed - at times financially - by the Man-Who-Lived, Harry Potter. Their earliest efforts were small - assisting in cleaning Hogwarts' grounds, serving hot meals to those who need them - but generous and well received.
A meeting will be held at the Ministry of Magic tomorrow at 11:30 am. All who are interested in joining Quango - or are simply interested in hearing more about Quango - are welcome to attend.

Harry Potter was seen conversing with convicted Death Eater's son, Draco Malfoy, in the doorway of a coffee shop near Diagon Alley. Could Britain's own hero be trying to convince the Malfoys of the error of their nefarious and self serving ways?
