i'm going to pretend that matt doesn't have access to this journal and write freely about how much i like him and how he is quickly becoming better than anything else i've seen (I know, I know, you've heard that before, but really). i feel like i'm back on course to finding a guy i can really get along with and be in a functional relationship with. it's a good partnership right now, with lots of room for growth, and i like that. simply really nice. nothing official, but nice.
story time: yesterday i got on the train and it was the first time since i met matt that i thought another boy i'd seen was really hot. there was this huge glare coming off the train window and i was looking for an empty seat. i saw this amazing looking guy as i was walking up the aisle, his shades reflecting, sexy dress shirt, great hair in the shadow of the window. i was too intimidated to sit next to him, but decided i'd be happy to take a seat in front of him and check him out for the next 45 mins from there.
well, as i'm going to sit down and the glare moves out of my vision, of course (as this cheesy story would have it), i realized it was actually matt. first time we've bumped into each other on our commute. as luck would have it, the train was stalled for over half an hour at that stop, extending the ride home. we talked ultra-sarcastically, holding hands for the entire ride, and then i went home and got ready for the date we already had planned for that evening. (it's really silly spending time fixing your hair when the boy has already seen you 30 mins before looking like you would when you get yourself together at 5 am and work for 12 hours). anyway, we had dinner, talked about feet and many other things, saw red eye, and i am still a very happy boy. we challenge each other in a good way i think.
other news: i'm off to Indianapolis for a good while to manage a certain expo and to visit
tinyshinykey.
call me, because I've never been to Indiana, and it will be nice to hear familiarities. there's a few wild ones coming with me on the trip, so it should be good times. xo jp
