Postremo die classum (Calling all Latinists)

Aug 03, 2005 18:08

Well, I finished my paper and translation, both due yesterday. Neither was as good as I would have liked, but now that they're done, I'm glad. I was pretty proud of the intro to my paper, since I worked hard on putting it into Latin. But since it took me so long just to write the first three paragraphs, I realized that it had been a mistake to tell Dr. G. that I would write a shorter simpler paper than he had assigned, but that I would do it in Latin. Still, here's the Latin part. To any Latinists who happen by here: Give me pointers if you've got'em!

Dē Cicerōne Pompeiōque
Novī Hominēs in Rē Pūblicā Obsolētā
