Miles Edgeworth was not normally one who wanted to impress everyone. Yes, he was careful with his appearance and yes, he cared about finding the truth. But in all his years, even as a disciple of Manfred von Karma, he has never wanted to impress anyone as much as he wanted to impress Franziska now. He knew that she would probably find all of this foolish, but he still hoped that this would bring even the smallest of smiles to her lips.
He takes a look at the bouquets of flowers strewn over his desk, trying to decide the best way to arrange the flowers. Red camellias to say that she was a fire in his heart. Pink camellias to tell her that he was longing for her and white to tell her that she was adorable. There were red chrysanthemums to say that he loved her, white to tell her it was a loyal love. Cowslip to say that she was graceful and beautiful to him and forget-me-nots to tell her that the love was true. And for the middle of the bouquet, there was a single red rose.
Of all the flowers he had chosen, this was the most special to him. He hoped it was just as special to her as he placed it in the center of the flowers, his fingers tracing delicately over the petals. It had been the first flower he had given her, the only one he had given her and he had told her what it had meant when he had pressed the dethorned rose into her hand. It was everything that she had meant to him, in that one little flower.
With a smile, he finally stood back, satisfied with his handiwork. It was time to deliver the flowers and show her how much she meant to him.
