where does the time go?

My god, its the end of august already.... where did it go, where did my summer go? in that regard, where did the whole year go? i keep feeling like i'm somehow falling behind the rest of the world. it's as if i'm always playing "catch up" and not advancing at all. when in truth i suppose i am chugging right along at an agreeable pace through my life. i do work two jobs, and come sept. 25 i will be a full time student as well. but i can't help but feel like i could be doing more.

At the moment, other things are a little haywire. i'm still with randy (i love him a little more each day), and he will soon be evicted from his apartment, he has been living at my house for the past three weeks or so. unfortunately for him, he doesn't really have any where else to go until he finds a job. his mother won't let him live with her unless he has a job, which is understandable. so now, every spare moment we have, he will be looking for a job, we should be doing it some more today, if i can get his ass out of bed. As far as my parents are concerned, they have a general knowledge of the situation and are being very understanding. they know we are trying to get him on his feet, and are just being gems about the whole thing. Last Friday we went on a job hunt for him, and i stopped at my bank to deposit a check. The tellers at the bank were trying to get randy to start an account, not knowing that they had previously denied him at that same branch for past bank charges at another bank as well as someone else using his social security. so the manager checks out his situation, finds that the social security thing was a bank typo and then asks him about the money he owes US bank. once he told him it was due to him cashing a bad check for someone else, the manager decided to give him a chance and start him an account. so i had them transfer 25 dollars from my account to his new one so he could open it. He was very happy that he was able to start an account, it is a big part of getting yourself together.

That same Friday i took randy to Ivars and then to a Monster Madness truck rally at the evergreen state fairgrounds as an early birthday present. He loved it and we both had a good time. His actual birthday is on monday, Labor day, the 4th of sept. Its his 21st so we will be waiting at the Ram at midnight on this sunday to go get the festivities started. i really hope the partying he'll do for a while after he turns 21 won't interfere with his getting a job and going to work, or there will be some serious problems.

well shit i think this has gone on long enough
