Mr.Taboo progress post
I guess I should say I graduated from college last week as undergrad. Finding jobs for animation/illustration will be tough and rough, but eh, I graduated, finally.
Before making a post for Fanime and all the lulz last week, gonna dedicate a post on the progress to this punk, completed at Fanime after starting back in August last year.
COMPLETED VERSION.
Day 1: From scratch. I didn't even plan on making it sparkly.
Day 2: And yes, I intended to make functional pockets 8D
Day 3: Vest assembling
Day 4: Adding the collar from the original pattern! Whicccchhh eventually got disposed cuz......
Day 5 or 6: I studied the costume, and it had lining when the original pattern didn't have it, which affects the collar and lapel, so...
And this was the state I left it in back in August... until this year.
......And then the whole thing was taken apart since I decided to add sparkles after all, using sequin fabric, which was basically sewing the whole thing a second time |D;
All the patches in the world. And yes, that's a Gryffindor patch. All the stuff on his coat was gathered throughout the year.
I also gotta thank mikage for all the free gold in the world too.
The state it was in before I finished the rest at Fanime.
And the rest...

I think I came a long way since I first sewed. Before it's always been kinda half-assed, but this time I tried to be as accurate as possible, along with the right sewing techniques.
Unfortunately I was rushing to finish it, the final touches had many sewing (but not too visible) mistakes ): But I can still say it came together pretty well.
