Sho's Otonoha #77...

Mar 20, 2011 18:16

God, it broke my heart reading it...

We read about the disaster, hear the updates, hear a generalization of what's going on. But reading it from someone's first hand experience... is totally different. T_T

The full Otonoha's been translated here.

He's been crying... no wonder he looked swollen during last week's News Zero. But the part that got me the most was when he said the following:

And now, while I'm writing this.

I only have the TV turned on in order to receive the latest news.

It's dark.

The heater is off, and I've been spending my days under layers of sweaters and coats.

It's cold.

But in comparison to those who are suffering, it is neither dark nor cold.

Saving energy...

In order to prevent large scale black outs.

It's what I can do right now.

He shared with us not a 'noble' action... but something so ordinary, so everyday life that everyone can relate to it. You can feel his sadness, how he feels his limits of how to help the victims, yet he's staying as strong as possible for them. And to imagine Sho-chan crying in the dark with just layers of coat to keep warm just breaks my heart T_T

And of course not just Sho, but everyone else... Hearing their humble message from yesterday's Shiyagare, the encouragement from Aiba's Rekomen and Jun Style (haven't found Arashi's Discovery yet, and sadly Bay Storm didn't air)...To hear the story in their perspective just makes it so much more real.

Thank you again, you guys... for staying so strong, honest, and encouraging for everyone. I keep praying Japan will get better, and pray you boys will truly smile again.

As Sho-chan said... let's ”踏ん張ろう!”
