The final shoe has dropped
My Godmom passed away this morning. Right now we - Boyfriend, Princess I and myself - are just getting ready for dinner and then we'll join the rest of the family at her home "sing her off". Meaning we will all sing some kind of hymne as the coffin is taken away from the family home.
We've decided to take Her Highness with us for that, because we figure she will need some kind of visual info to somehow understand what has happened.
I went and said my goodbyes yesterday and I'm glad for that atleast and now comes the really hard part. Helping my Godson and his Dad and sister live on.
When I signed up for Godmom duty for that beautiful young man I never thought I would end up in this situation, but here we are and I will do my very best.
