I hate you, Massachusetts.
So MA law is that everyone need to have health insurance.
So my mom doesn't know English but works under an English company.
And because of that, she apparently missed her company's health insurance period, and there's apparently nothing we can do about it. Getting individual insurance is not an option, since that's way too expensive. And she need insurance for diabetes/other meds.
My parents want me to call her boss and ask, but seriously, wtf can you do now that the enrollment period is over? Seriously, it'd be more productive to contact the agency that manage that company's health insurance.
But yeah, I'm wondering if my mom can apply for Commonwealth Care again... 'Cept she was cut off from that last year because she got her current job. -_-; Anyone living in MA and have experience with this? I wish the weekend's over already so I can go ask my co-workers, but argh parents. Bugging me to call her boss. Which won't help the situation anyways. Stop bugging me.
