I hope everyone's having a happy Thanksgiving~! Our family doesn't really celebrate Thanksgiving, but we still had a Thanksgiving-like meal since my parents brought home the Thanksgiving Vegetarian Turkey Meal special from the restaurant. So we had vegetarian turkey slices covered in cranberry and apricot sauce with vegetables and a side of yams with pineapple and orange sauce, then apple pie for dessert~ :D It was yummy!
And seeing as it is still the 26th over here, I want to wish my dad a happy birthday :D Oh, and how could I forget? Happy 29th Birthday, Ohno Satoshi~ ♥! In honor of this day, I changed my layout so that...it's another Ohno layout XDD I hope he had an awesome birthday, but if this week's VS Arashi Golden episode is anything to judge by--getting a ring from Gackt and spending time with dorky bandmates who will probably feed him lots of cake and yakiniku--I'm sure it was fine :D
Speaking of dorky...yesterday, on my way to lunch, I ran into my friend from DBSK club and her friend who had a 5x10 Arashi Anniversary Tour cellphone charm the last time I met her. I totally freaked out over it last time since I NEVER meet any other Arashi fans, so when she saw me this time, she said, "Oh! It's the Arashi girl!!" After some conversation, she told me that her MOM is the one that's super into Arashi and her MOM likes Ohno a lot too--at which point I was like, "Please introduce me to your mom!!! NO ONE ELSE I KNOW LIKES OHNO!!"
It's pretty sad, but I'd really like to meet other Arashi fans :( It's really lonely laughing and fangirling by myself! Even my Japanese conversation partner only sort of knows them and her favorite is Nino anyway, which is fine, but...she doesn't seem too interested.
