Summer-like weekend
It was really sunny and hot over this weekend. Hot enough that we had to break out the fans, open all the windows and it STILL was wayyyy too hot and stuffy. It's times like these that I really wish we had air conditioning at our house, but it's usually doesn't get hot enough so that we wouldn't really use it outside of summer. XD;; My dad called this weekend "rehearsal" for summer since he feels like it'll be super hot. I was HOPING we would continue this trend of cold/crazy weather and have a relatively cool summer, but it seems more likely that my dad will be right. ::sigh::
=__=;; I hate summer. I mean, I love having summer vacation, but mostly I hate it. It's too hot, I sweat too much and I usually don't have enough things to do...so I get bored really fast and plunge straight into moping about (despite the fact that sunshine will be pouring in and everything). A lot of my friends are working or going off on long vacations this time around so, the prospects aren't looking amazing for this summer. Oh well, hopefully I can find work or at least more things to do so I can fully enjoy the summer since after that...AHHHHH it's junior of college. SCARY MAX!!! (especially since uh, I totally don't feel like I've grown/matured/changed at all)
On the bright side of things, the wisteria in our backyard is blooming. Since we had to open the windows over the weekend, the rooms near the backyard smell softly of flowers. It's really nice~ <3 And then, it's not very hot today! It's just warm and cloudy, which is sooo nice compared to how hot it was over the weekend!
And the due date of my AAI midterm was pushed back until Friday! I almost cried from happiness because I totally didn't work on it enough over the weekend so it's really nowhere near being done. >_>;; Since I have an English paper also due on Friday, my goal is to definitely have one or the other done early so I won't have to work frantically on both Thursday night. (Knowing me, I'll undoubtedly be working on at least one of them up to the very last minute)
Finally, I REALLY want to go see Iron Man since everyone keeps saying really good things about it! Unfortunately, they were totally sold out when I tried to go see it over the weekend >_<;; Hopefully I'll finally get around to seeing it this coming weekend.
