I decided to do a bit of work for my neglected master thesis. When I did research at the newspaper library in Yokohama I sent all articles to my Yahoo Japan e-Mail addy. I have since archived most of them to word documents, but not all of them. Today I decided I'd finish that work so I can print them out and start working on them.
I log on and see this (in Japanese): Your e-Mail address has been deleted because you did not log in for four months. All your e-Mails have been deleted. All your attachements have been deleted. Your address books has been deleted. We CANNOT bring that data back. Thank you for using Yahoo Mail. If you would like to re-instate your e-Mail please click here.
I've had that e-Mail address since 1999. I've never had a single problem with it.When I logged in it stated there were 15 unread mails still left. At least 10 of those contained articles I needed for my master thesis. I wonder if something's telling me that it just isn't going to happen... sigh... the ones left were mostly random newspaper articles that dealt with my topic, but still...
I will just have to do with what I have...
