If the LJ iPhone app actually let you read your friend list I be way more apt to actually use this thing again.

A commenter below suggests the "Journaler" app, I will look into it and report.

I thought those pocket computers had internet browsers in 'em! :)

Yeah, but once you start using apps for everything it's hard to break the habit.

Twitter has ruined me, I can only think in 140 character bursts. I am ashamed.

dear asa, you should read your archives before you blame twitter.

ALSO, on my REAL COMPUTER, I have an app that only lets me post. I have to use the browser to read LJ too!

Good point, I guess I rarely wrote posts longer than a paragraph or so anyway.

Even when I was posting with more frequency I never used an app, it was easier to just use my browser.

If you could read your friends list and take a good picture from this gondola with it?

Gondola?

I am confused!

Ingo was having trouble taking a good picture from the gondola in Whistler, which is what I think of now every time people complain about iphone-y things. Also, it all has to be said in the rich moose voice.

I generally THINK in rich game show announcer voice, moose voice isn't that great a departure.

I made this LJ template a while ago to read my LJ friends list on the iPhone a little easier and still use it:

Not sure if that's what you want, because I never really post to LJ from my phone, but it's good for reading.

The digest refused to work on my Droid, but I had my login info saved already so that was ok.

I use the "journaler" app. It has a friends list feed, lets you post entries, even supports multiple accounts. I really like it so far, WAAAAY better than the LJ app.

Haha! Hi! I'm friends with tendency and am living with llarian. Alas I missed out on all the fun of our younger haydays as I have been living on the East coast since '03.

As for the app, yeah- Journaler is the way to go as far as I can tell. I've tried a few, and that is my favorite so far.
