Doctor Who Speculation
Because I like to, even if i'm totally off base, which I was...
Okay... so River Song is Amy's daughter. I can actually deal with that. And River is the Doctor's... mate. She isn't a Time Lord but because she was conceived on the TARDIS she has the ability to regenerate...
Oh... is there a tiny secret the TARDIS is keeping from the Time Lords... from all of us. Perhaps the Time Lords didn't evolve but were "pushed" by the creatures who became the beings of the TARDIS... so why can't Humans....um..
Well you know my speculation on that. I hold tight to the Eighth Doctor's admission that his mother was Human...
So... here's what I think is going on with a 200 year old Doctor and him getting killed.
The 200 year told Doctor is the ganger Flesh. Remember the Doctor said he might regenerate. I also did hear about the Flesh aging. Because Time Lords do age. The first Doctor was an old man and was the only one to die of natural causes (200 years old about?). I think Melody/River is take and does become the weapon and kills the Doctor (the Flesh may have aquired a bit of the regeneration thingy). I think once this happens the real Doctor saves her and thus their relationship begins.
I think he returns only a short time after he leaves Amy/Rory/River behind but he has lived all the years he spent with River. And I think River is about to be called to help out with a problem on a planet with a Library. Seems the people have disappeared...
