Racing update...
You know if you try to type 'best' on the keyboard without looking and happen to end up one spot to the right what comes out is 'nrdy'? I dunno.. I found it amusing.
Anyway, wanted to share some pictures with all y'all.

(If you look carefully, you'll see three cars ahead of me, the middle car turned sideways. Also, you may notice that my left front wheel is cranked hard to the right as I'm about to go up the track and around the wreck. The orange car ended up with a broken front suspension from this encounter.)
I'm having a blast racing. In 4 nights of racing, I've gotten to the point where I can hang with the back of the pack and even attempt a pass or two. I qualified 29th of 33 this past week, and I made every lap in the heat race and the semi-feature. I don't think I managed to complete a pass this weekend, but I was able to do that last weekend when another guy got out of shape and had to get off the gas.
What would put an exclamation point on this season is if I were able to finish next-to-last car running instead of last car running. (I get credited, for example, with 5th place of 6 when one car can't make it to the end of the race.)
