graduation and the such
sunday, june 1st was my graduation and although it was kinda long, it wasn't too bad. john and zan came along with my cousin, dad, my dad's wife, matthew, mom, and grandma. i only fell asleep during the ceremony once and my feet hurt the whole time cuz of new shoes, but they were cute, so it was okay. the night before was john's cousin's graduation party so i was drunk the night before my graduation, had a slight hangover during the graduation, then got drunk again after the ceremony. it was nice.
on a different note here's some things i want to discuss: i hate tv ads that have songs in them that were or are hits (must i remind you of the often over used iggy pop song from trainspotting?) worse yet is when someone else sings the songs so that they fit the commercial.
i also want to talk about the old cure (the group). i was watching 'why can't i be you' and i always forget how kind of cute and enduring they once were. they were kind of like some boy who would do cute, but kind of lame things to get yr attention and ultimately won you over. but now robert smith is just kind of scary. not michael jackson scary, but not looking good either. i think a lot has to do with the white face make-up; it has to go. i can't speak for the rest of the band cuz they never really get a good camera shot, so i'll just say robert smith for now.
the final think i want to comment on is the fcc ruling from yesterday. it is so horrible and ridiculous that all tv and radio stations should be owned by one media corp. they said it's cuz they want to make sure that stations have the same info so there is not any conflicting opinions. that's a load of shit. i can't really think of any more to say about it right now, but i'm really mad about this. i think i'm gonna go to www.fcc.gov or something. i don't know. well, that's it, good bye
