Never Too Late..
After all the fuss over the years, I finally watched Amelie. If I were a man I'd recommend that I be castrated for taking this long to see it. Thank god I'm not one, so I recommend just a swift chastise instead, k?
It really is as good as I've always heard it was. I don't have a deep philosophical reason for why I loved it, and really; neither do most people. They just do, and I just do.
I'm going to watch it again tonight after my Sunday Night lineup of crime investigation television shows. This definitely isn't one of those "I wish my boyfriend was here so we could watch this together" thing. He'd be making fun of the french words the whole time. I heard a couple "peepee"'s in there that would never be lived down if he were here.
Also, Michy gave me a book about visiting New York, and my boss gave me a million nooks and crannies to visit; however if there is anything you think I absolutely MUST see; please advise. I have to come up with a schedule of sorts because otherwise, knowing me, I'll just ride the horse-and-carriage for four days straight. I love horsies, go away.
