[Update] Allah Sulu's Massive Tool version 3.4.7

Dec 11, 2008 16:53

There's a new version of
Allah Sulu's Massive Tool
available for download. New changes include:
  • I added "Default Domain for User Tags" to the "Document" tab of the "Preferences…" window (from the EDIT menu). Previously, whenever you changed the domain on the "User Tags…" window (from the HTML menu), the new domain "stuck" - it was saved to the configuration file and you stayed with that domain until you changed it back (which was very easy to forget, as I myself was just recently reminded). Now, the "Reset Options" button on the "User Tags…" window will restore the domain which was selected on the "Preferences…" window; and the configuration file is only updated if you make a change from the "Preferences…" window.
  • I corrected a couple of flaws in the "Post to LiveJournal…" code. It was having problems with apostrophes in the Userpic names; you may need to re-load your names (with the "Update Icons/Tags" button). Also, LiveJournal was rejecting posts which contained high-ASCII ($80-$FF) characters (such as the “smart quotes” you might get if you copied and pasted text from another web page, like a news story). Of course, those issues were already corrected if you used the "Paste Special" option from the EDIT menu; but just in case any of those characters remain in your text when you try to post to LJ, the Massive Tool will automatically convert them into ampersand codes.
  • I added another option to the reference pages generated by the Massive Tool, to support LJ-compatible sites (see this post for more information). That change, and a minor formatting change, are now reflected in the online Reference Pages.
  • As usual, there are more icons and backgrounds, and expansions to the built-in programming language.

None of these changes is particularly major; but just as I profiled a new macro that was included in the last update, I'm releasing this update in order to include and show off yet another new macro. It's called dragme.rim, and I'll describe it in my next post.

reference pages, html/css, new update!, livejournal
