Well, I am writing after a long hiatus. Been sidetracked by Facebook!! I am looking forward to this movie more than any other releasing in the next few weeks. Here the Telegraph reviews this story based on Dylan Thomas' complicated love life.
At work another academic year is winding down--just one week to go after tomorrow. Am still waiting for the Germans to grant my wife a spousal visa! Talk about German inefficiency! :D Well am looking fwd to going back to England for part of the summer holidays.

Recently been reading a lot of Ghazali -- may his secret be sanctified. I guess as we get older and our mortality becomes more obvious, we return to thoughts of Death and the Afterlife. A return to the spiritual solace of my Islam has also helped me cope with the death of my father and loneliness in a strange land. But Sufism is not all I have read.....
More later. Off to see Germany vs. Portugal in Euro 2008.
