Charlie Wilson's War
I watched Charlie Wilson's War after being impressed with the trailer--and it was brilliant. It really sheds light on the Afghan-USSR conflict and the hidden aspects of that world-shattering event. Above all, it was extremely witty and well made. A great film--and it is all based on the true story of Congressman Charles Wilson--one of the unsung [till now] heroes of the Afghan conflict which helped the mujahideen to overthrow the USSR.
