incredibly compact version of the past however long it's been:
. found out he's getting married. maybe on accident. felt weird for a minute. over it.
. disappointed that ANOTHER person I went to high school with has died of a heroine overdose. seriously. STOP IT.
. went to silver lake. did lots of walking. saw a beautiful sunset over lake michigan from the top of a sand dune. learned that my friends are way more into partying than i am. swam in a lake and got hives from it. had some crazy drama happen that cut my vacation short and almost ruined my life. almost.
. bought a beautiful 32" hd lcd tv. first adult purchase of my life.
. saw my favorite person on the planet for the better part of 3 days. put my life back into perspective. also got to see my second family. miss them tons.
. had some heavy conversation about what i expect from myself and my relationships. being honest is hard.
. watched lots of olympic trials. mostly for the obscure sports. it was awesome!
. bought a bridesmaids dress that i don't particularly like.
. acquired a new pair of black and silver ralph lauren stilettos. most beautiful shoes on the planet.
. got some business cards, because i'm a person with a real job now. [ how weird is that??? ]
