Six hours figure drawing class . . . why?
I realize that's a stupid question, since I understand a lot of art schools run their figure drawing sessions a lot longer BUT.
My concentration levels for figure drawing are accustomed to lasting up to three hours only D: After that I just end up thinking how I'm going to toss all the drawings into my cube and never look at them again. Plus with colored paper I fear degenerating into a stupid drawing style that looks "lol so artistic" and I won't actually learn anything about anatomy.
ANYWAY week two Calarts update :D
Last Saturday was my and Joseph's one year anniversary as zomg boyfriend/girlfriend lol. It was a lovely time even though I got Monster Cramps about halfway through. We saw Burn After Reading, which I Quite Liked even though most of my classmates were like "lollll it was so weird". Somehow predicted that. @_@ I dunno, ever since CSSSA, anything with a recognizable narrative doesn't qualify as "weird" for me.
This week we got our first assignment for Color and Design. 8| I fear it.
We have a simple assignment for animation, but I have a creeping feeling that I must be Doin It Rong since I'm not used to animating on paper, lol.
Also working on some storyboards for That Guy I Do Storyboards for. Um. Would anyone be interested in seeing those?

I asked one of my professors if I could pitch my first year film idea to him early
Since it's gotten to the point where I can't analyze it anymore @_@ *has been thinking on it all summer*
So that happens Monday
I'm a wee bit TERRIFIED
Also RL friend Kimmy Kim Kim is going to COLEJ today! Hooray for Kim! And also probably the rest of my UC-bound friends, but I have yet to confirm that. D:
