As someone who was told I was fat my entire life by teasing boys in the neigborhood.... Once I found out I was allergic to everything, and started getting my diet in order and healing my gut, I lost a lot of weight(about 45 pounds between arriving at CSF and leaving Colorado). I remember being in my advisor's office, just bullshitting about who knows what, and something about my family came up, and she asked what my brother looks like, "He's like, an inch shorter than I am, but he is really skinny." And she laughed, and made a comment about how I was a pretty skinny boy myself. And to be honest, up to that moment, I hadn't noticed. And somedays(read- often), I still have the mental body image of the kid who was teased and called fat all the time. AND I WASNT EVEN THAT FAT TO BE BEGIN WITH! But yah, it's something I am aware of in my own life.
