In the first episode, Tori was shown to have a little disliking attitude towards his Professor. Despite that, he and Ugachi seek his help when their cases clashes. My, that professor has a very sharp mind! The way Tori pushed Ugachi's head to bow in asking for help pfftttt...
Ok so the girl from Ugachi's case turns out to be... not the said missing Shoijo Misaki. Tori and Hisame continued investigating. Hisame sneaks his way in a girl's dorm room! They really can't slip out any moment where Hisame isn't mistaken for being a detective Lol The roommate may seem obnoxious but I won't deny, I'm just like her when it comes to "having the room all to yourself" the girl got some guts saying it despite her senpai had gone missing you know its not like she went away on vacation or anything! But she did had a girl's back for when Hisame was about to open the wardrobe. Aanyhooo---

Of course, Tori and Hisame are excellent detectives and solved the case. But did not saw this one coming. No wonder Tori was "there's nothing that I'm not interested" he can sense when it comes to a good case.
I soooo feel this Shioji Misaki girl. I felt like disappearing many times too especially in my teen days. But at least she's not bullied tho. She's properly socializing in people's circle just a little too blended that's all. Feeling guilty for what she did, Tori stopped her from making a leave. Now I very much love this scene! Although they do this kind of thing every time (the part where they talk in some senses to the clients) but the way they nicely approach this JK affirming that its okay to be "you". I wish someone had done something like this to me 🥲 To think if it wasn't for what she had done, she might not have found a friend who "sees" her like Kusuriko-chan... or in fact help save that other JK. These kind of scenes is where you can find the softness in Gotemba Tori 👍
Episode 5 already? we're another step closer to what "happened six years ago"!!!

Tori still fascinated by the case as he cooks. Then comes the "if I went missing" talk. So if Tori went missing, Hisame, no doubt would run after him. But Hisame doesn't wish for the same? The way this episode ended as a cliffhanger in awry...
Just my opinion, I don't think Hisame is on the "bad side" or siding Mikage. Maybe he's holding back because of guilt?
